This fact sheet provides organizations serving vulnerable youth with strategies for integrating effective approaches for conducting a human trafficking assessment.

Survivor-Informed Services Among Runaway and Homeless Youth Programs

Survivor’s experiences can strengthen the effectiveness, reach, and impact of programs for young people. This document aims to provide practical human trafficking survivor-informed strategies to support youth serving organizations in creating opportunities for survivor feedback, leadership, and integration into youth-serving programs, such as runaway and homeless youth (RHY) programs, to improve services-delivery.

Report to Congress on the Runaway and Homeless Youth Program for Fiscal Years 2016 and 2017

This Report to Congress describes primary activities and services carried out by the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), an agency within the Administration on Children, Youth and Families, Administration for Children and Families (ACF), of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The purpose of these primary activities is to support grantees to meet the needs and aspirations of runaway and homeless youth (RHY). The submission of this Report to Congress fulfills FYSB’s mandate to submit a biannual report on the status and results of FYSB investments in RHY.

Findings from the Transitional Living Program Youth Outcomes Study

This report describes findings from the Transitional Living Program (TLP) Youth Outcomes Study (YOS). The TLP is a grant program for runaway and homeless youth ages 16 through 21, funded by the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) within the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), TLPs provide a package of supports consisting of transitional housing, wrap-around support services, and intensive case management to provide safety and emotional support and help youth build self-sufficiency.
