The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking applicants for the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program that provides funding to promote a community-wide commitment to ending homelessness. The CoC Program funds nonprofit providers, states, and local governments in their efforts to quickly re-house homeless individuals, families, persons fleeing domestic violence, and youth while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness. Furthermore, CoC funding promotes access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs for people experiencing homelessness while optimizing self-sufficiency.

HUD expects to make 8,000 grants with total funding approximately $2.25 billion. Applications are due by Monday, September 30, 2019.
