Abstract:

This brochure provides information to young people about sex trafficking and the warning signs they should look for to prevent becoming victims. It outlines the three “Ts” of trafficking: targeted, tricked, and traumatized, and emphasizes the predatory nature of pimps who use force, fraud, and coercion toward their victims. The brochure describes when, where, and how sex trafficking occurs, including how traffickers use social media as a recruitment tool. It includes a resource youth can contact for suspected trafficking.
