This report is a collection of reading materials from the National Summit on Gender-Based Violence Among Young People, held April 6 and 7, 2011 in Arlington, Virginia. There are nine papers: (1) Sexual Harassment Overview; (2 Sexual Harassment in School: The Public Performance of Gendered Violence; (3) Losing the "Gender" in Gender-Based Violence: The Missteps of Research on Dating and Intimate Partner Violence; (4) Male Partner Pregnancy-Promoting Behaviors and Adolescent Partner Violence: Findings from a Qualitative Study with Adolescent Females; (5) Young Children's Exposure to Intimate Partner Violence: Towards a Developmental Risk and Resilience Framework for Research and Intervention; (6) Toward Evidence-Based Treatment: Child-Parent Psychotherapy with Preschoolers Exposed to Marital Violence; (7) Comparing the Impact of Bullying and Sexual Harassment Victimization on the Mental and Physical Health of Adolescents; (8) Exploring Gender Differences in Dating Violence/Harassment Prevention Programming in Middle Schools: Results From a Randomized Experiment; and (9) Physical Dating Violence Norms and Behavior Among Sixth-Grade Students from Four U.S. Sites.
