New! Family & Youth Services Bureau: Street Outreach Program

Due Date:
Monday, July 1, 2019

FYSB is seeking applicants for its Street Outreach Program (SOP) to support work in developing relationships between outreach workers and homeless, runaway, and street youth that allow them to rebuild connections with caring adults. SOPs focus their efforts in areas where street youth congregate to assist them in making healthy choices and to provide access to shelter and other resources, such as gateway services, screening and assessment, harm reduction, emergency shelter, crisis stabilization, drop-in centers, and referrals to other services. The award process for FY 2019 SOP allows for annual awards over a three-year period, as funds are available. FYSB expects to award up to 52 grants. The estimated total program funding is $7,736,225 and the individual award ceiling is $150,000.

Applications are due on Monday, July 1, 2019. To view the full announcement and application package, visit grants.gov
