NEW! Family & Youth Services Bureau: Sexual Risk Avoidance Education Program
Monday, July 1, 2019
FYSB is seeking applications for the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) Program to implement sexual risk avoidance education projects that teach participants how to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity. SRAE services are targeted to participants who reside in areas with high rates of teen births or who are at greater risk of contracting sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The program goals are to empower participants to make healthy decisions and to provide them with tools and resources to prevent pregnancy, STIs, and engagement in other risky behaviors.
FYSB expects to award 20 grants. The estimated total program funding is $19 million with an individual award ceiling of $975,000. Applications are due by July 1, 2019. To view the full announcement and application package, visit grants.gov.
