The HHS Office of Family Assistance (OFA) is seeking applications for the Relationships, Education, Advancement, and Development for Youth for Life (READY4Life) program. These grants will target youth for projects designed to support healthy relationships and marriage, including the value of marriage in future family formation and skills-based healthy relationship and marriage education. In addition, grants will support activities including parenting (for young fathers and mothers, as applicable), financial management, job and career advancement, and other activities. Projects must target youth who are in high school (grades 9 to 12), or who are high-school aged or in late adolescence and early adulthood (ages 14 to 24). ACF is interested in receiving applications for a diverse range of projects, from high-impact projects, to medium- and smaller-scope projects.
OFA intends to award 27 grants. The estimated total program funding is $24 million and the individual award ceiling is $1.5 million.
Applications are due on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. View the full announcement at grants.gov for additional information about this opportunity.
