National Clearinghouse on Homeless Youth and Families

Erich and Hannah Sachs Foundation

The Erich and Hannah Sachs Foundation is accepting applications from licensed nonprofits that strengthen the economic base of low-income communities and improve residents' access to housing, education, and health care. Priority will be given to self-sustaining programs or those that have the potential to become self-sustaining. The foundation, which awards both grants and low-interest loans, also encourages agencies to discuss their programs and financial needs with them over the phone before submitting a proposal.
