New Report Provides a Snapshot of Youth in Crisis

The Crisis Contacts Report from the National Runaway Safeline and FYSB is a compelling look at youth homelessness. In 2016, the Safeline responded to almost 30,000 requests for help and information.

Between 1.6 and 2.8 million youth run away each year. Many of these young people will end up on the streets. These are not bad kids; they are good kids in bad situations. National Runaway Prevention Month (NRPM) is spearheaded each year by the National Runaway Safeline, which provides information on easy ways to get involved, plan events, and spread the word. By supporting NRPM, you are showing America’s runaway and homeless youth that they are not invisible and they are not alone.
